Dear Families,
Hello and Happy Spring (almost!)!
Can you tell how excited I am for the return of more daylight and the color
green?! Can’t wait to see what this storm has in store for Tuesday!
Today I am proud to report that we have
read a total of 2483 minutes! Last week we read 971 minutes. That’s more than
our first week and our second week! We’re in third place, only 2403 minutes
behind Ms. Walior’s class. I am confident that between weekend reading,
Wegivebooks.com reading, and sheer determination, our class could pull ahead!
FYI, I will be at a Grade Level
Meeting with the other third grade teachers in our district on Tuesday this
week. There will be a substitute teacher. The class and I will be discussing
strategies to make the day awesome. Please have this conversation at home, too.
